Professor Jong-Ran Lee's research lab focuses on signal transduction mechanisms in immune cells, particularly the roles of adapter proteins such as LAT and SLP-76 in T cell and platelet activation. The lab investigates tyrosine kinase-dependent signaling pathways downstream of immunoreceptors, including the T cell receptor and collagen receptor GPVI, with a focus on how these pathways regulate cellular responses like activation, differentiation, and development.
