Professor Junghee Yoon's research lab specializes in veterinary and translational medical imaging, with a focus on advanced cross-sectional imaging techniques such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound in small animals. The lab investigates the diagnostic accuracy and clinical applications of imaging modalities—including shear wave elastography, magnetic resonance elastography, and CT lymphography—for detecting and characterizing abdominal and thoracic neoplasms, liver fibrosis, and lymphatic system disorders in dogs and cats. A key research direction involves correlating imaging findings with histopathological and clinical outcomes to improve early diagnosis and treatment planning in oncology and hepatobiliary diseases.

We present a case of a 71-year-old man with prostate cancer who had no prior underlying liver disease. During metastatic evaluation, a solid mass in the liver was identified by computed tomography and ultrasound.
