Professor JungHwan Park's research focuses on low-dimensional topology, particularly knot theory and 3- and 4-manifold topology. His work centers on understanding concordance, cobordism, and slice properties of knots and links, with a strong emphasis on algebraic and smooth invariants such as those from Heegaard Floer homology. He investigates connections between geometric topology and contact/Lagrangian topology, including Legendrian and exact Lagrangian cobordisms. His research also extends to the study of Milnor invariants and derivatives of algebraically slice knots.

Genus One Cobordisms Between Torus Knots

Abstract We determine the pairs of torus knots that have a genus one cobordism between them, with one notable exception. We establish a number of results about smooth and topological concordance of knots in S 1 × S 2 . The winding number of a knot in S 1 × S 2 is defined to be its class in H 1 ( S 1 × S 2 ; Z ) ≅ Z . Milnor's triple linking numbers and derivatives of genus three knots

Abstract We investigate the disparity between smooth and topological almost concordance of knots in general 3-manifolds Y. A study on the effects of oriental face culture on tourism behavior

본 연구의 목적은 체면문화 및 관광행동의 개념화와 측정에 대해 연구하고자 하였으며, 그리고 이러한 체면문화가 관광행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 편의표본 추출된 여행경험이 있는 우리나라 국민 261명으로 하였다. 본 연구는 문헌연구와 함께 설문조사를 통한 실증연구를 병행하였으며, 분석은 IBM SPSS Statistics version 27(기술통계분석, 빈도분석, 요인분석, 다중회귀분석, t-test, ANOVA)을 이용하여 이루어졌다. 실증연구 결과, 특히 사회의식 체면(회귀계수=0.704)과 타인의식 체면(회귀계수=0.121)이 스마트 관광행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 자아의식 체면(회귀계수=-0.132)은 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 독창성 관광행동에는 자아의식 체면(회귀계수=0.158)과 타인의식 체면(회귀계수=0.148)이 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 반대로 사회의식 체면(회귀

이 연구의 목적은 가상현실공간에서 아바타를 이용한 원격강의 경험이 사용자의 교수효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이 연구를 위해 J대학교 교육학 전공 강좌의 수강생 9명이 연구에 참여하였다. 이들은 모두 교육학 전공의 박사과정 학생들이었다. 이 강좌의 첫 번째 강의에서 6시간 동안 세컨드라이프 사용법에 대해 면대면 강의가 이루어졌으며, 이후 3시간씩 14회의 강의는 모두 세컨드라이프 내 강의실에서 이루어졌다. 설문에 응한 5명의 참여자로부터의 성찰노트, 연구자 관찰 및 면담 내용을 분석한 결과, 세컨드라이프에서 아바타를 사용한 원격강의 수강과 발표 경험은 세컨드라이프에서 아바타를 사용한 원격 강의를 수행할 수 있는 자신감에 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 세컨드라이프라는 가상현실공간에서 아바타를 사용한 원격교육의 가능성을 확인하였다는 것에 의의가 있으며, 향후 원격 교육에 대한 연구를 촉진할 것으로 기대된다. 이미지 센서에서 획득된 영상에는 화질 개선을 위해 다양한 이미지 처리 과정이 필요하다. 이러한 이미지를 처리해 주는 역할을 하는 것을 ISP(Image Signal Processor)라고 한다. 기존의 비전 카메라는 상용 ISP 칩을 사용하는 대신에 자체적으로 ISP 기능을 소프트웨어로 구현하여 PC등에서 수행하는 방식을 택해왔다. 그러나 이러한 방식은 ISP 기능을 수행하는데 많은 연산을 필요로 함에 따라 고성능 PC를 필요로 하는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 하드웨어와 소프트웨어의 효율적인 분담을 통해 칩 면적을 크게 줄인 ISP를 제안한다. 연산을 빠르게 처리하기 위하여 연산이 많은 블록은 하드웨어로 설계하였고, 하드웨어의 면적을 고려하여 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 동시에 이용하도록 설계하였다. 구현된 ISP는 VGA(640*480)급의 영상을 처리할 수 있으며 0.35um 공정에서 91450 게이트의 크기를 가진다.
