Professor Jung-Hyun Kim's research lab focuses on translational biomedical research, particularly in neurorehabilitation, immunology, and cancer biology. The lab investigates neuromuscular modulation through targeted interventions such as focal vibration therapy to improve motor function in neurological disorders, explores the role of chronic inflammation and oxidative stress in metabolic and autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and obesity, and examines cellular and molecular mechanisms in cancer immunotherapy—especially telomerase activity and cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cell therapy in glioblastoma. The lab integrates preclinical models with clinical data to identify biomarkers and develop novel therapeutic strategies.
