Professor Kyung Ha Min's research lab specializes in population health and preventive medicine, focusing on the early detection and risk prediction of chronic diseases through clinical and epidemiological approaches. The lab investigates the impact of lifestyle factors—such as smoking, physical activity, and environmental exposures like air pollution—on metabolic and cerebrovascular health in the general population, particularly in young and middle-aged adults. Using large-scale health screening data and advanced statistical modeling, including machine learning, the lab aims to identify biomarkers and risk indicators for conditions like insulin resistance, cerebral small vessel disease, and severe outcomes in infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
