Professor Lahaye M.'s research lab specializes in educational innovation in higher education, with a focus on learner-centered pedagogies in English-medium instruction. The lab explores the design and implementation of problem-based learning (PBL) in STEM disciplines, particularly in college-level physics courses. Research directions include optimizing PBL components such as problem quantity, duration, and group work structures to enhance student learning outcomes and course satisfaction. 1Universities in Korea have driven universities’ new attempts to adopt more learner-centered and active learning in English.
