Professor Lee, Dayong's research lab specializes in reproductive medicine and fertility preservation, with a focus on ovarian tissue cryopreservation, in vitro fertilization (IVF) outcomes in cancer survivors, and the accurate diagnosis of ovarian pathology. The lab investigates clinical decision-making in fertility-sparing treatments, including hCG-guided regimens for gestational trophoblastic neoplasia and the use of biomarkers like ROMA to differentiate benign from malignant ovarian conditions. A key emphasis is placed on improving fertility outcomes while preserving endocrine function in young women undergoing oncological treatments.

For patients at risk of premature ovarian failure with cancer treatment, it is an important option to re-implant the ovarian tissue (OT) after cryopreservation to preserve endocrine function and fertility.
