Professor Mee Rim Kim's research lab focuses on neuropsychiatry and digital health, with a strong emphasis on understanding the neurobiological underpinnings of sleep disorders and cognitive dysfunction. The lab investigates brain structural changes in chronic insomnia and evaluates the cognitive and emotional impacts of antiepileptic medications like levetiracetam. Additionally, the lab is actively engaged in health policy research, particularly in advancing the commercialization and global expansion of digital therapeutics in South Korea. Their interdisciplinary approach bridges clinical neuroscience, neuropsychological assessment, and health technology innovation.

AIMS: To estimate the effect of levetiracetam (LEV) on cognitive function and mood status in newly diagnosed epilepsy patients. METHODS: Fifty-five drug-naïve epilepsy patients (M:F ratio = 31:24; mean age = 30.9 years) were included.
