Professor Moon Hyang Park's research lab specializes in biomaterials and regenerative medicine, focusing on the development of advanced hydrogel and sponge-based scaffolds for tissue engineering and wound healing. The lab investigates the chemical modification and bioimaging of hyaluronic acid and other biopolymers to enhance their therapeutic delivery and tissue integration. Key research directions include the application of nanocarriers for growth factor delivery to improve stem cell survival in ischemic environments, and the modulation of apoptotic pathways to reduce drug-induced organ toxicity. The lab also explores the use of polyelectrolyte complexes and quantum dot labeling for real-time tracking of biomolecules in vivo.

Basal cell adenoma is a rare benign salivary gland epithelial tumor, usually involving the parotid gland. We report CT and MR findings of three cases with basal cell adenoma occurring in the parotid gland. We performed an immunohistochemical (IHC) study to determine the follicular expressions of c-kit, SCF, and inhibin-alpha at different developmental stages in mouse ovary.
