Professor Oh-Bin Kwon's research lab focuses on translational neuroscience and biomedical informatics, with a strong emphasis on the neurobiological mechanisms underlying schizophrenia and metabolic disorders. The lab investigates neuromodulatory systems—particularly neuregulin-1 and dopamine signaling—in synaptic plasticity and cognitive function, while also developing advanced AI-driven visual navigation systems using graph-structured memory and neural radiance mapping. Additionally, the lab explores hormonal and genetic factors in metabolic diseases, such as acromegaly and type 2 diabetes, with a focus on personalized medicine through genetic polymorphism analysis. Visual Graph Memory with Unsupervised Representation for Visual Navigation

We present a novel graph-structured memory for visual navigation, called visual graph memory (VGM), which consists of unsupervised image representations obtained from navigation history. The proposed VGM is constructed incrementally based on the similarities among the unsupervised representations of observed images, and these representations are learned from an unlabeled image dataset. We also propose a navigation framework that can utilize the proposed VGM to tackle visual navigation problems.

Renderable Neural Radiance Map for Visual Navigation
