Professor Oh-hyun Lee's research lab specializes in interventional cardiology, with a primary focus on radial artery access techniques for percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), particularly the distal radial approach (DRA). The lab investigates procedural feasibility, spasm prevention strategies, and outcomes in acute coronary syndromes such as ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Additional research extends to left atrial appendage occlusion and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure, emphasizing neurological outcomes and optimal patient selection in stroke prevention.
