Professor Sangpyo Lee's research lab focuses on advancing immunotherapies for allergic diseases and respiratory conditions, with a particular emphasis on novel delivery methods such as intralymphatic immunotherapy (ILIT) to enhance efficacy and safety. The lab investigates immune modulation mechanisms involving lipid mediators like prostaglandins and leukotrienes in lung immunity and inflammation, aiming to understand their roles in infectious and allergic lung diseases. Additionally, the lab explores clinical applications of pharmacological agents like codeine in chronic cough and evaluates cardiovascular and neurological comorbidities in allergic and respiratory disorders, such as patent foramen ovale in pediatric migraine patients.
