1배 경 : 객담 항산균 도말검사는 폐결핵 진단의 가장 중요한 검사로, 현재까지 우리나라는 객담 도말양성을 폐결핵 진단의 기준으로 사용하고 있다. 하지만 도말검사만으로는 결핵균과 NTM의 구별이 가능하지 못한 제한점이 있다. 본 연구는 국내 한 삼차 민간의료기관에서 항산균 도말양성 객담에서 NTM의 분리비율을 알아보고자 하였다.대상 및 방법 : 1997년 7월 1일부터 2001년 12월 31일까지 4년 6개월간 진단검사의학과 임상미생물검사실로 항산균 도말 및 배양검사가 의뢰된 객담 중 도말양성, 배양양성 검체 1,889건을 대상으로 하여 도말과 배양검사결과를 분석하였다.
