Professor Seung Myeon Choi's research lab specializes in clinical and translational ultrasound applications, focusing on noninvasive assessment of liver and renal diseases. The lab investigates ultrasound-based elastography and steatosis quantification to predict liver fibrosis in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and metabolic-dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).
