Professor So Young Ji's research lab specializes in translational neurosurgical innovation, focusing on patient-specific 3D-printed models for brain tumor surgery planning and the clinical application of fluorescence-guided surgery using 5-ALA. The lab also investigates novel therapeutic strategies for glioblastoma, particularly combining PARP inhibitors with temozolomide, and addresses the challenges of surgical management in connective tissue disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Abstract We report a case of glioneuronal tumor (GNT) with a discovery of novel gene fusion of CLIP2-MET resulting from aberrant chromosome 7 abnormalities. We executed an elaborate genomic study on this case including whole-exome sequencing and RNA sequencing. Genomic analysis of the tumor revealed aberrations in chromosomes 1 and 7 and a CLIP2-MET fusion.
