Professor Sun Won Hong's research lab specializes in diagnostic and molecular pathology, with a focus on thyroid and salivary gland cancers. The lab investigates the immunohistochemical and clinicopathological features of rare and aggressive thyroid carcinoma variants, such as the diffuse sclerosing variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (DSVPC), aiming to improve diagnostic accuracy and classification. Abstract The Furfural and 2-furoic acid present in bacterial cultures were extracted and detected by High pressure Liquid Chromatogrphy (HPLC).
