Professor Sung-Soo Hong's research spans diverse fields, including food and consumer behavior, molecular genetics, and electronic engineering. His work explores the relationship between consumer lifestyles and restaurant menu preferences, investigates genetic polymorphisms in the apolipoprotein B gene and their impact on lipid metabolism in Koreans, and develops advanced power drive circuits for plasma display panels. These interdisciplinary efforts reflect a strong focus on both biological systems and technological innovation in consumer electronics.

8The purpose of this study is understood marketing importance as finding the relation between menu of Korean restaurant and life style of customer. Life style is classified into 10 factors. To assess whether particular alleles of apolipoprotein B (apoB) gene affect cholesterol metabolism in Korean population, we have studied the possible association of 8 polymorphic sites in the apoB gene with plasma lipid levels. Eight of the specific DNA regions, including 7 diallelic sites and one 3′-VNTR locus, were amplified by PCR on 86 subjects. All of the 6 sites except for XbaI and MspI were polymorphic in the sample. The proposed Multi-level PDP sustain Driver is composed of the semiconductor devices with low voltage rating compared to those used in the prior circuit proposed by L.
