Professor Wan-Jae Lee's research lab specializes in the sociological and computational analysis of cultural production and digital discourse, focusing on the interplay between literary institutions and social structures. The lab investigates the socio-demographic dynamics of literary careers through large-scale archival data, while also examining digital disinformation ecosystems, particularly state-sponsored troll networks on news platforms. By combining literary studies with data science and computational social science, the lab explores how power, identity, and influence are constructed and contested in both print and digital media environments.
