Professor Wei Tian's research lab focuses on the intersection of social cognition, collective behavior, and digital communication, particularly in the context of civic engagement and social media dynamics. The lab investigates how individual cognitive perceptions—such as problem recognition, self-efficacy, and perceived injustice—influence willingness to participate in collective action. It also explores the cognitive mechanisms underlying stress and resilience in educational professionals, with an emphasis on metacognition and cognitive flexibility. The lab employs mixed-methods and bibliometric approaches to analyze social and psychological processes in digital and educational environments.
