Professor Woong-Sup Geum's research lab specializes in radiation oncology and medical imaging, with a focus on improving cancer treatment through advanced imaging techniques and radiation therapy. The lab investigates the predictive value of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) parameters for tumor response and microvascular characteristics, particularly in colorectal cancer models. It also explores the clinical application and regional utilization of modern radiation therapy techniques such as intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and postoperative radiotherapy (PORT) in soft tissue sarcomas.
