Distributed optimal TXOP control for throughput requirements in IEEE 802.11e wireless LAN

This paper designs a distributed Transmission Opportunity (TXOP) adaptation algorithm for IEEE802.11e Enhanced Distributed Channel Access (EDCA). Each node measures its throughput in a window and compares it with a target value. If the measured throughput is higher than the target value, the node reduces its TXOP, otherwise if the measured value is less than the target throughput, the node increases its TXOP. We show that the target throughput can be achieved in a globally stable manner.

Statistical Connection Admission Control for Mobile WiMAX Systems

본 연구는 온라인 서점의 도서 추천 서비스가 사용자의 도서 구매 경험에 실제적으로 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 목적으로 만들어졌다. 추천 알고리즘의 기술적 고도화가 UX 향상에 즉결되는 것은 아니므로, 경험적 측면에서 도서 추천 서비스의 만족감을 측정할 필요성이 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 설문조사를 통해 도서 구매 동기에 따라 사용자를 군집분석한 후, 추천서비스에 대한 추가적 정보를 얻기 위해 심층 인터뷰를 실시하여 퍼소나와 행위 시나리오를 작성하는 설계로 구성되었다. 연구결과, 온라인 도서 구매 동기에 따라 사용자를 독서 전문가형, 트렌드 팔로워형, 비용 절감형, 판매량 추구형 등 4가지 군집으로 나눌 수 있었다. 추천 서비스에 대한 현재 활용도는 상대적으로 독서 전문가형 퍼소나와 판매량 추구형 퍼소나가 높고, 트렌드 팔로워형 퍼소나와 비용절감형 퍼소나는 낮은 편이었다. 추천 서비스 개선에 따른 추후 이용 가능성에 대해서는 도서 선택 기준이 자기중심적인 독서 전문가형과 비용절감형은

목 적: Bristol 대변형태척도는 대장통과시간을 예측하는 간단한 방법이나 임상적으로 또는 연구 목적으로 널리 사용되지 않고 있다. 이에 저자들은 소화기 증상으로 내원한 환아의 대변표현형, Bristol 대변형태척도와 대장통과시간검사 결과를 비교 분석하여 이들 상호간의 연관성 및 Bristol 대변형태척도의 임상적 유용성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법: 2002년 5월부터 2004년 5월까지 소화기 증상으로 연세의대 세브란스 병원 소아과에 내원한 489명의 환아를 대상으로 연령, 성별, 대변의 표현형, Bristol 대변형태를 기술하고, 방사선 불투과성 표지자(SitzmarkR 또는 KolomarkTM) 24개 또는 20개를 연속적으로 3일간 복용시킨 후 4일째 복부 방사선 사진을 촬영하여 대장통과시간을 측정하여 비교 분석하였다. 결 과: 내원한 환아의 평균 연령은 8.2±3.9세로 5세 이하 116명, 5세 초과부터 10세 이하 202명, 10세 초과 171명이었다. 대변표현형은
