Professor Young-Hoon Yu's research lab specializes in molecular imaging and nuclear medicine, focusing on the development and application of advanced PET tracers for neurological and oncological diseases. The lab investigates radiotracer binding patterns in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body disease, and tauopathies, with a particular emphasis on tau-specific PET imaging and its clinical implications. In oncology, the lab applies radiomics and machine learning to preoperative FDG-PET/CT for predicting tumor biomarkers like microsatellite instability in colorectal cancer. The integration of molecular imaging with clinical outcomes and genomic profiling further strengthens the lab’s translational research approach.

Herein, we report a case of 83-year-old woman, who showed abnormal uptake of AV-1451 thatwas shown to be subacute infarction. Clinicians should recognize that increased uptake of AV-1451 may be related to stroke.

목 적:methylphenidate(MP)는 ADHD에서 효과적인 치료제이며 70%의 환자가 MP에 좋은 치료반응을 보인다. 본 연구는 ADHD 아동에서 약물의 주 작용부위이자 도파민 체계에서 중요한 조절자인 기저신경절 Dopamine Transporter(DAT) 밀도가 MP 치료반응을 예측할 수 있는지에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 방 법:연세대학교 의과대학 정신과 영동 세브란스 병원 소아 청소년 정신과를 내원한 6~12세 ADHD 남아 15명을 대상으로 한다. 이중 MP에 대한 반응군은 8명이며 비반응군은 7명이었다. 이들에게 약물치료 전 임상평가와 함께 [123I]IPT SPECT를 시행하였다. MP 투홍현주 등 385 여 8주 후 다시 치료반응을 평가하며 MP 반응군과 비반응군 사이의 기저핵 DAT 밀도의 차이를 알아보았다. 또한 DAT 밀도에 영향을 미치는 다른 인자와 치료반응을 예측하는 다른 인자들도 알아보았다. 결 과:MP반응군과 비반응군 사이에는 기저신경절 DAT 농도차이
목 적 : 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애(Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ; 이하 ADHD)는 도파민계와 관련있는 것으로 알려져 있는 대표적 소아 정신과적 장애이며, 특히 도파민 운반체(dopamine transporter ; 이하 DAT) 유전자와의 연관성은 널리 입증되어있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최근 I-123 IPT를 이용한 SPECT 영상으로 기저 신경절의 DAT 밀도를 측정하여, ADHD 환아에서의 도파민계의 비정상적 소견을 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 9명의 약물 비노출 ADHD 아동군과 6명의 정상 대조군을 대상으로 I-123 IPT를 정맥주사한 후 2시간 이 경과한 상태에서 SPECT를 촬영하였으며 그 영상을 분석하여 좌, 우측의 기저 신경절 DAT 특이결합/비특이 결합 비율을 구한 후, 각 군간의 차이를 정량적으로 분석하였다. Bone metastasis from a spinal cord astrocytoma has been reported only twice in the English medical literature. It is generally known that bone metastasis is found after the initial diagnosis with/without intervening surgery rather than being found at the time of the diagnosis of astrocytoma. The purpose of this article is to report for the first time a case of concurrent bone metastasis from a spinal cord astrocytoma at the time of diagnosing the spinal cord astrocytoma.

Metastatic struma ovarii is an extremely rare disease,and the treatment of choice has not been established. Here, we introduce the case of a 36-year-old female pregnantpatient with metastatic struma ovarii. Initial treatment was anexploratory laparotomy to remove multiple peritoneal masses.
