Professor Young Sul Yoon's research lab specializes in interventional and minimally invasive spinal interventions, with a primary focus on percutaneous epidural neuroplasty (PEN) for treating lumbar disc herniation and chronic radicular pain. The lab investigates the clinical outcomes, imaging correlates, and anatomical factors influencing treatment efficacy, particularly in relation to epidurography contrast patterns and dural sac morphology. Research also extends to spinal and neurological disorders, including adolescent lumbar disc herniation and rare causes of trigeminal neuralgia, emphasizing image-guided diagnosis and intervention. The lab integrates clinical outcomes with advanced radiological and neurophysiological assessments to optimize percutaneous spinal therapies.

15PURPOSE: To examine the incidences and patterns of injuries that required medical attention among Asian football players. METHODS: A total of 411 Asian football players at both senior and youth (U-20) elite levels were observed during 50 international matches. We present a case of a spinal extradural AVF which occurred after instrumented lumbar interbody fusion and was completely closed by transarterial embolization with N-butylcyanoacrylate (Histoacryl, B.
