연구실 소개
안혜진 교수의 연구실은 기생충 생물학과 숙주 면역 반응의 상호작용을 중심으로, 톡소플라isma gondii와 Neospora caninum 등의 기생충에 의한 감염병의 분자 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 기생충의 단백질이 숙주의 세포 내에서 어떻게 기능하는지, 예를 들어 핵소체로의 이동이나 숙주 단백질과의 상호작용을 분석함으로써 병원성 메커니즘을 밝혀내는 데 기여하고 있습니다. 또한, 농장 동물과 인간에서의 기생충 감염 유병률 조사 및 진단 기반의 혈액 검사법 개발을 통해 보건 및 수의학 분야의 실질적 응용도 함께 고려하고 있습니다.

The seroepidemiological status of toxoplasmosis was surveyed among the residents of Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do by means of ELISA using a crude extract antigen of Toxoplasma gondii. Toxoplasma gondii provokes rapid and sustained nuclear translocation of the signal transducer and activator of transcription 6 (STAT6) in HeLa cells.
