구강모 교수의 연구실은 식물의 영양성분과 생리활성 물질의 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로, 차와 브로콜리와 같은 고부가가치 채소의 품질 향상과 지속 가능한 농업 시스템 개발을 목표로 합니다. 특히, 재배 방식, 호르몬 처리, 농업 복합 시스템(Agrivoltaics) 등이 식물의 대사물질 조성과 항산화 능력에 미치는 영향을 LC-MS, GC-MS 및 다변량 분석을 통해 체계적으로 규명하고 있습니다. 연구는 식품 안전성, 기능성 식품 개발, 그리고 기후 변화 대비 농업 혁신에 기여하고 있습니다.
