연구실 소개
김백희 교수의 연구실은 위암의 분자적 이질성과 치료 반응 예측을 핵심 목표로 삼고 있으며, 특히 메시내일형(EP)과 간엽형(MP)으로 구분되는 분자 아형을 규명함으로써 예후와 화학요법 반응성을 예측하는 데 기여하고 있습니다. 또한 샤프 히드로젠(Shh) 신호전달 경로의 위암 전이 및 침습 메커니즘 규명과 함께, PI3K/Akt 경로와의 상호작용을 통해 암 진행 메커니즘을 밝혀내고 있습니다. 최근에는 NAFLD와 동맥경화증의 동시 발생 메커니즘을 고지혈증 및 체내 염증 모델을 통해 탐색하며 간질환과 심혈관계 질환의 연관성을 연구하고 있습니다.

15Gastric cancer is a heterogeneous cancer, making treatment responses difficult to predict. Here we show that we identify two distinct molecular subtypes, mesenchymal phenotype (MP) and epithelial phenotype (EP), by analyzing genomic and proteomic data. Activation of sonic hedgehog (Shh) signaling has been implicated in progression of a variety of tumors.
