연구실 소개

홍범기 교수의 연구실은 당뇨병성 혈관병변과 관상동맥질환의 발달 기전을 중심으로, 고혈당에 의한 고분자화산물(AGEs)과 소형 밀도 지용단백질(sd-LDL)이 혈관 세포의 증식과 산화 스트레스에 미치는 영향을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 스타틴의 항산화 작용과 혈관보호 기전, 대사증후군이 관상동맥질환의 진행에 미치는 영향을 기초 및 임상적으로 탐구하고 있습니다. 관상동맥 스텐트 이후 재협착(재협착)과 같은 합병증의 생물학적 기전을 규명하고자 다양한 생물학적 마커와 영상 유도 진단 기법을 융합한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.
