지병철 교수의 연구실은 산부인과 질환과 생식 건강을 중심으로 한 임상 및 기초 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 자궁내막증, 난소성낭종, 자궁근종 등 여성 생식기 질환의 생물학적 기전과 진단 마커를 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, IVF 치료 성과 향상과 약물 치료의 부작용 관리에도 깊이 관여하고 있습니다. 최근에는 염증 및 면역 반응과 연관된 생체마커(sCD163, IL-6)와 수분 이동을 조절하는 아คว아포린 단백질의 발현이 생식세포 및 난소 기능에 미치는 영향을 탐구하고 있습니다.
