연구실 소개
박병일 교수의 연구실은 기업의 소유구조와 기술혁신, 다국적 기업의 지식 획득 전략, 신 emerging 시장 기업의 해외 진출 전략 등에 중점을 두고 있으며, 특히 다국적 기업의 지식 이전, 동적 역량, 합작회사의 학습 능력 등에 대한 이론적·실증적 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 기업의 소유 구조와 혁신 성과의 관계, 해외 진출 동기와 자회사의 학습 능력 간 상호작용, 그리고 중국 기업의 해외 M&A 성과 등 다양한 글로벌 비즈니스 현상을 분석하고 있습니다. 특히 기존 이론의 한계를 보완하고 새로운 이론 프레임워크를 제안하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.

15ABSTRACT Manuscript Type: Empirical Research Question/Issue: This study examines the influence of firms' ownership structure on their technological innovation performance. First, we have examined whether ownership concentration positively influences technological innovation performance. Abstract Despite studies exploring factors affecting knowledge acquisition from multinational enterprises in subsidiaries, what accounts for a successful acquisition is unresolved. We argue that such disparity may stem from inattention to investment motivations of multinational enterprises (MNEs) in foreign markets and to the fact that learning patterns of subsidiaries can be influenced by foreign firms' market‐seeking or efficiency‐seeking behaviors.
