연구실 소개

김찬 교수의 연구실은 종양 미세환경의 면역 조절 메커니즘과 면역세포의 기능 전환을 중심으로, STING 신호전달 경로와 면역검사점 억제제를 활용한 새로운 종양 치료 전략을 개발하고 있습니다. 특히, 혈관세포에 발현되는 STING가 종양 혈관 구조를 재편하고, T세포 침윤을 증가시켜 종양 성장 억제에 기여하는 메커니즘을 규명하고 있으며, 이는 다양한 암 종양(대장암, 유방암, 소엽성육종 등)에 적용 가능한 치료 전략으로 발전하고 있습니다. 또한, 혈액 기반 생물표지자 및 면역세포 프로파일링을 통한 치료 반응 예측 및 모니터링 기술 개발도 함께 진행하고 있습니다.
