연구실 소개
함창화 교수의 연구실은 척추디스크 디스크 디스크 질환의 분자 기전과 척추 기형, 특히 척추관 협착증 및 척추측만증의 생체역학적 원인을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 디스크 디스트레스의 염증 반응, 세포외기질 조절, 혈관신생, 그리고 기계적 스트레스가 척추 조직에 미치는 영향을 분자생물학적·생체역학적 접근으로 규명하고 있습니다. 최근에는 코로나19 시대의 척추외과 진료 패러다임 변화와 금속성 파편 유발 합병증 등 임상적 도전 과제도 함께 다루고 있습니다.
