연구실 소개
김찬윤 교수의 연구실은 망막 신경절손실의 조기 진단과 고도근시 환자에서의 망막망막층 두께 측정의 임상적 유용성을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 매크룰 GCC 두께와 주위망막신경섬유층 두께의 진단 성능 비교, 고도근시 및 고혈압 등 체질적 요인이 당뇨병성 망막병변에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 있습니다. 또한, 항고혈압 치료와 약물 복용 준거성에 대한 임상적 패턴 분석을 통해 장기적인 질환 관리 전략을 모색하고 있습니다.

15A curvilinear function best described the relationship between VF sensitivity and GCC thickness. Macular GCC thickness and RNFL thickness showed similar diagnostic performance for detecting early, moderate, and severe glaucoma.
The ability to diagnose glaucoma with macular GCC thickness was comparable with that with peripapillary RNFL thickness in high-myopia patients. Macular GCC thickness measurements may be a good alternative or a complementary measurement to RNFL thickness assessment in the clinical evaluation of glaucoma in patients with high myopia.

The deviation map from Cirrus OCT was more sensitive in detecting RNFL defects than the clock-hour and quadrant maps derived from cross-sectional peripapillary RNFL measurements by Stratus and Cirrus OCTs. The ability to detect localized RNFL defects on clock-hour or quadrant RNFL maps did not significantly differ between Stratus OCT and Cirrus OCT.
Inner retinal layer thickness, as measured by FD-OCT, varies significantly with age and axial length. The effect is small but clinically relevant in the interpretation of inner retinal layer thickness measurements.
GCC loss in the NTG group was more localized compared with diffuse GCC loss in the POAG group. Perimacular GCC parameters could be a good alternative or supplement to peripapillary RNFL measurements for diagnosis and research in patients with NTG.
PURPOSE: To assess the associations between vascular and metabolic comorbidities and the prevalence of open-angle glaucoma (OAG) with low-teen and high-teen intraocular pressure (IOP) in Korea. METHODS: Cross-sectional data from the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey from 2008 to 2012 were analysed. AGV implantation was successful for IOP control in patients with refractive glaucoma in the long term. However, the success rate of surgery decreased over time. Preoperative high IOP and severe complications related to the operation were significant risk factors for failure.
In the SD-OCT image, the SFCT became thicker and the choroidal extravascular density increased after HD in patients with CRF. The decrease in SBP after HD was associated with an increase in SFCT. The choroidal autoregulatory control of ocular hemodynamic change and shifting of fluid and molecules between the blood and choroidal interstitium might be involved in the mechanism of these choroidal changes.
The presence of cataract significantly affects RNFL thickness measurements by SD-OCT and TD-OCT. SD-OCT, which demonstrated more consistent change of RNFL measurements after cataract extraction, is not necessarily associated with lower RNFL thickness measurement performance in cataract cases, as more participants with cataract were excluded because of poor image quality or low SS, which was more associated with TD-OCT than SD-OCT.
The level of VEGF in aqueous humor was significantly higher in the failure group after the Ahmed glaucoma implantation compared with the success group. Our results imply that VEGF may play a role in determining surgical success after Ahmed valve implantation in patients with NVG.
