연구실 소개
이철 교수의 연구실은 신경퇴행성질환, 특히 알츠하이머병과 뇌손상 회복 메커니즘을 중심으로 산화적 손상과 내재적 복구 시스템의 역할을 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 뇌의 신경 발생과 관련된 성장인자(예: VEGF) 및 신경줄기세포의 미세환경이 뇌 기능 회복에 미치는 영향을 분석하며, 신경재생의 임상적 응용 가능성을 탐색하고 있습니다. 또한 환자 중심의 치료 전략 개발을 위해 정신증성 증상 조절 약물의 효과 평가와 함께, 사용자 감성 반응을 제품 설계에 통합하는 감성디자인 프레임워크 개발에도 기여하고 있습니다.

Twenty-two Korean inpatients with delirium were administered prospectively a flexible dose of quetiapine. The delirium rating scale-revised-severity 98 (DRS-R-98) and clinical global impression scale-severity (CGI-s) scores were assessed at the time of pre- and post-treatment. The DRS-R-98 and CGI-s scores were significantly reduced by 57.3% and 55.1%, respectively.
