연구실 소개
안철우 교수의 연구실은 당뇨병과 비만에서의 대사 이상, 특히 인슐린 저항성과 체성분 변화 간의 상관관계를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 뼈 대사와 에너지 대사의 연관성인 옷소칼신의 역할, 비만과 인슐린 저항성 간의 메커니즘, 그리고 당뇨병 환자에서의 혈관질환 위험 요인 분석 등 다양한 대사질환의 병태생리학적 기전을 규명하고자 합니다. 특히, 체성분, 지방분포, 어드포넥틴 등 생체지방 관련 생체마커와의 연관성을 중심으로 임상적·생화학적 접근을 통해 개인 맞춤형 대사질환 관리 전략을 모색하고 있습니다.

15OBJECTIVE: Osteocalcin has been proposed to be a novel link between bone and energy metabolism. Previous studies showed its relations to exercise, body fat and glucose metabolism, but their interrelationship remains inconslusive.
