연구실 소개
한철우 교수의 연구실은 금융시장의 과반응 현상, 모멘텀 전략의 위험성, 크레딧 리스크 모델링, 파생상품 시장의 파급효과, 그리고 손실률과 신용도 간의 상관관계 등 금융자산 가격 움직임과 리스크 관리에 중점을 두고 있다. 특히 기계학습 기반 예측 모델과 혼합 포isson 프로세스를 활용한 신뢰도 높은 포트폴리오 최적화 및 리스크 프레임워크 개발이 핵심 연구 방향이다. 시장의 비효율성과 리스크의 상호작용을 분석함으로써 실무적 적용이 가능한 금융공학 기법을 지속적으로 개발하고 있다.

15We investigated the overreaction of the Korean market in response to shocks in the US stock market, and analysed the dynamic relationship between these two markets since 1996. This paper documents the bimodality of momentum stocks: both high- and low-momentum stocks have nontrivial probabilities for both high and low returns. In this article, we investigate the impacts of futures and options markets on the volatility of the underlying market. Unlike earlier studies, the focus is on their persistence over time. In this article, a generic severity risk framework in which loss given default (LGD) is dependent upon probability of default (PD) in an intuitive manner is developed. The proposed model renders a robust portfolio that performs superior under parameter uncertainty. In this article, we propose a new framework for addressing multivariate time-varying volatilities. Abstract In this article, we develop a bankruptcy prediction model for Korean firms that utilize logit regression.
