전지현 교수의 연구실은 인공지능과 로봇의 법적 지위, 특히 전자적 인격성 부여와 관련된 공공의 인식을 중심으로 연구를 전개하고 있습니다. 기술의 사회적 영향을 고려한 정책적 고려사항과 함께, AI의 책임 소재 및 법적 책임 모델에 대한 대중의 태도를 분석함으로써 기술과 법, 윤리의 교차점에서의 실질적 대안을 모색하고 있습니다. 또한, 한국의 대규모 기술 인프라 구축 사례(예: 경부고속도로, 청계천 복원사업)를 통해 기술과 사회, 역사가 얽힌 환경기술적 실천의 맥락을 분석하는 데에도 관심을 기울입니다.

Abstract We analyze the use of Silbot – a “dementia-prevention robot” – in a regional health center in South Korea.
