연구실 소개

조경화 교수의 연구실은 환경 미생물학과 수문학 모델링을 융합하여 수질 오염의 원인인 대장균 등 병원성 미생물의 수문지역 내 이동과 생존을 예측하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 강우 및 기상 조건, 농업 및 도시 환경 관리 방식이 수질 오염에 미치는 영향을 수리모델링을 통해 분석하며, 지속 가능한 수자원 관리를 위한 과학적 근거를 제공합니다. 최근에는 암세포의 전이 메커니즘을 규명하는 분자 생물학적 연구도 병행하고 있습니다.
