연구실 소개

배충식 교수 연구실은 내연기관의 고효율 및 저배출 기술 개발을 핵심 목표로 하며, 특히 수증기 및 첨가제를 이용한 연소 제어, 직접분사 시스템의 최적화, 고압 연소 환경에서의 연료 분포와 Ignition Delay 분석을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 고압 연소실에서의 연료 분사 및 연소 특성 분석을 위해 정적 부피 용기와 자동차용 엔진을 활용한 실험적 접근이 특징입니다. 특히, 높은 압축비 조건에서의 폭발 방지 및 배기가스 저감 기술에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.

Water was directly injected into the cylinder with an injection pressure of 5 MPa to investigate its effect on engine performance and emissions in a gasoline engine. The test engine was a 1.6-L naturally aspirated prototype engine consisted of water direct injection and port fuel injection systems. The engine featured a compression ratio of 13.5.
