연구실 소개

이 교수의 연구실은 영상 품질 평가 및 처리 분야에서 핵심적인 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 인간 시각 체계의 감도 특성에 기반한 객관적 영상 품질 측정 기법, 특히 에지 주변의 품질 손실에 대한 민감도를 분석하고, 웨이브렛 변환을 활용한 다차원 주파수 성분 기반 평가 모델을 개발하고 있습니다. 또한 영상 리샘플링, 배경 추분, 적응형 스트리밍 환경에서의 품질 모니터링 등 실용적인 응용 분야에도 기여하고 있습니다.

We propose a new method for an objective measurement of video quality. By analyzing subjective scores of various video sequences, we find that the human visual system is particularly sensitive to degradation around edges. Objective measurements of video quality using the wavelet transform

We propose a new method for objective measurement of video quality using the wavelet transform. We exploit the fact that the sensitivity of the human visual system varies over spatiotemporal frequencies.
