연구실 소개

정범진 교수의 연구실은 원자로의 극한사고 상황에서 발생하는 열거동과 열전달 메커니즘을 실험 및 이론적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 특히, 고온 산화물 풀의 자연대류에 의한 저하부의 열부하 분석에 중점을 두며, 열전달과 질량전달의 유사성 원리를 활용한 실험적 접근을 통해 정량적 예측 정확도를 향상시키고자 합니다. 이는 원자로 안전성 평가 및 설계 개선에 기여하는 핵심 기초 연구입니다.

We investigated the heat load imposed on the lower head of a reactor vessel by the natural convection of the oxide pool in a severe accident. Mass transfer experiments using a CuSO4–H2SO4 electroplating system were performed based on the analogy between heat and mass transfer.
