연구실 소개

임대현 교수의 연구실은 주로 소아 및 성인의 만성 기도질환, 특히 알레르기성 기침, 천식, 간질성 폐질환 등에 기여하는 면역 및 염증 반응의 분자 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 퇴행성 폐질환의 원인으로 지목된 가습기 살균제의 유해성, IL-33 및 MMP-9, PI3Kγ와 같은 염증 관련 분자의 역할을 동물 모델을 통해 체계적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 기초 면역학적 메커니즘과 임상적 적용을 연결하는 다학제적 접근을 통해 새로운 치료 타겟과 진단 전략 개발을 추구하고 있습니다.
