장대준 교수의 연구실은 해양 에너지 시스템의 경제성, 기술적 타당성 및 환경 영향을 종합적으로 분석하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 액체 수소 운반선의 부피 증기(BOG) 활용, 수소 기반 하이브리드 선박 추진 시스템의 최적 제어 전략, 그리고 LPG/액체 수소 연료 공급 시스템의 경제성 평가를 핵심 연구 주제로 다룹니다. 신뢰성 높은 에너지 관리 전략과 재생 가능 에너지 통합 기술의 선박 적용을 통해 친환경 해양 운송 기술의 실현 가능성을 모색하고 있습니다.

This study proposed a strategy for selecting an optimal propulsion system of a liquefied hydrogen tanker. Four propulsion system options were conceivable depending on whether the hydrogen BOG (boil-off gas) from the cryogenic cargo tanks was used for fuel or not.
