연구실 소개

남도현 교수의 연구실은 뇌신경종양, 특히 고급도의 간질성 뇌종양인 간질성 뇌종양(Glioblastoma, GBM)의 병행 기전과 개인화된 치료 전략 개발을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 환자의 종양을 그대로 반영한 이식모델(orthotopic patient-derived xenograft)을 구축하여 약물 반응 예측과 치료 내성 기전을 규명하고 있으며, 특히 GSC( glioblastoma stem cell)의 유지 및 악성도 유도 신호 경로(예: MET, Wnt/β-catenin, TGM2)에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한, 암의 미세환경 변화(예: 괴사 유도 환경)가 종양의 악성도 전환에 미치는 영향을 분자생물학적으로 규명하고 있습니다. 이와 함께, 환자의 극소량 종양세포를 활용한 고속 약물 효능 평가 플랫폼 개발을 통해 정밀의료의 실현 가능성을 높이고 있습니다.
