최동구 교수의 연구실은 에너지 시스템의 지속 가능성과 전력망의 안정성 확보를 핵심 목표로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 전력 수요와 공급의 균형을 고려한 전력 정책 평가, 재생 가능 에너지 전환의 영향 분석, 전력 수요 반응 및 전기차 확산이 전력 시장에 미치는 영향을 다각도로 연구하고 있습니다. 또한 에너지 저장장치의 최적 운영 전략과 시간에 따라 변화하는 전력 수요 패턴을 분석하는 데에도 전문성을 기르고 있습니다.
