This paper investigated inequality of urban and farm household income for the period of 1990-2000 by estimating a generalized entropy inequality index. This index was decomposed into within- and between-group inequalities for urban and farm households. This paper also examined the contribution of each income source to inequality. In this paper, we investigated the impacts of direct rice income compensation payment program on the rental behavior of individual farms in Korea. In particular, we decomposed the effect of changes in rice price on the farmland rental demand into two parts, i.e., direct effects and indirect effects. The former represents the shift of rental demand curve caused by a rice price change, and the latter the movement along the demand curve caused by a rent change that is induced by rice price change.

본 연구는 한국의 2000년 광공업통계조사의 시군구 집계 자료를 이용하여 제조업의 지역간 생산성 격차의 결정 요인을 분석하였다. 생산활동에 있어서의 비효율성을 고려하여 생산기술을 분석하는 생산경계 모형을 이용하여 기술적 효율성에 영향을 미치는 지역 변수를 집적경제요인들을 중심으로 분석하였다. 본 연구는 지역간 및 산업간 통계적으로 유의한 수준의 기술적 효율성, 즉 생산성 격차를 확인하였다. 전통적인 집적경제요인으로서 지역화 경제를 나타내는 산업의 고용규모는 생산성을 증대시키는 요인으로 나타났으나, 도시화 경제를 나타내는 인구규모의 경우 여러 선형연구들에서와 마찬가지로 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 얻지 못하였다. 하지만, 인구규모에 따른 지역 그룹별 평균효율성 비교에서 인구 50만-100만 규모의 도시가 가장 높은 생산성을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 그 외 지방정부의 재정자립도와 공공부문의 사회간접자본은 제조업의 지역생산성에 정의 효과를, 그리고 지역경제의 다양화와 도시용 토지 비율 및 주

본 연구는 향후 예상되는 쌀가격 하락이 국내농업에 미치는 영향의 중요성을 감안하여, 쌀가격이 농지임차수요와 농지임대공급에 미치는 효과를 중심으로 농지임대차시장의 수요 및 공급의 특성을 분석하였다. 구체적으로 본 연구는 개별농가 단위에서의 임대면적 및 임차면적 결정 요인을 패널 Tobit 모형을 적용하여 계량 분석하였다. 국내에서 개별농가 자료를 이용한 농지임대 및 농지임차에 대한 실증연구가 많지 않고, 농지임대차시장에서 쌀가격의 변화를 고려하여 농지 수요와 공급의 특징을 동시에 분석했다는 점에서 본 연구는 선행연구들과 차별성을 가진다. 본 연구의 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 추정된 개별농가의 농지임대공급 및 농지임차수요는 임대차료에 대해 각각 정(+)과 부(-)의 관계를 나타내어 공급곡선과 수요곡선의 특성을 보인다. 특히 농지임대차료의 변화에 대한 탄력성은 농지공급이 수요에 비해 상대적으로 더 탄력적인 것으로 추정되었다. 이는 현실적으로 임차농가의 경우
