연구실 소개

이동현 교수의 연구실은 비침습적 암 진단 기술 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 소변을 이용한 액체 생검(liquid biopsy)을 통한 요로암 조기 진단과 유전자 이상 탐지 기술을 핵심 연구 분야로 삼고 있습니다. 또한, 텔로머라제 활성도 분석을 통한 암 생물학적 특성 규명과 함께, 대사성 질환과 관련된 수술 후 합병증 관리, 항산화제의 대사적 효과 등 임상적 응용을 겸비한 다학제적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 최근에는 고성능 페로브스카이트 나노결정체의 합성 및 응용 기술 개발을 통해 의료용 광소재 분야로 연구 영역을 확장하고 있습니다.

Telomerase: a potential marker of bladder transitional cell carcinoma in bladder washes.

Telomerase is an enzyme that immortalizes cells by maintaining a constant telomere length. Here, telomerase activity in bladder washes was analyzed and compared with the final pathological diagnosis in 23 patients with bladder transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). Risk Factors for Developing Metabolic Acidosis after Radical Cystectomy and Ileal Neobladder

Approximately, half of patients experienced metabolic acidosis one month after ileal neobladder reconstruction. Preoperative impaired renal function was the most significant risk factor for developing metabolic acidosis in the early postoperative period. However, the incidence of metabolic acidosis decreased to less than 20% 1 year after surgery, and diabetes was an independent risk factor during this period.

We present a method to synthesize stable and uniform high-quality perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) by using excess halide to recover surface defects in CsPbBr 3 /ZnS core/shell nanocrystals. Cluster analysis identifies three urodynamic patterns in patients with orthotopic neobladder reconstruction

While patients with ileal neobladder present with various voiding symptoms, three urodynamic patterns were identified by cluster analysis. Approximately half of patients had ideal urodynamic parameters. The other two groups were characterized by large residual urine and small capacity bladder with low compliance. Young age and male gender appear to have a favorable impact on urodynamic and voiding outcomes in patients undergoing orthotopic neobladder reconstruction.
