안동준 교수의 연구실은 생체재료 및 나노소재를 기반으로 한 혁신적이고 응용 가능한 기술 개발에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 특히, 고분자 기반 복합재료, 나노입자 도핑, 생체적합성 및 기능성 표면 개질을 통해 조직공학, 바이오센서, 식품 안전 검사 등 다양한 분야에 응용 가능한 신소재를 개발하고 있습니다. 광학적 특성과 생물학적 상호작용을 결합한 다기능성 소재 설계가 핵심 연구 전략입니다.

Oligonucleotide assisted light-emitting Alq3 microrods: energy transfer effect with fluorescent dyes

Oligonucleotide assisted tri(8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminium (Alq3) microrods were prepared for the first time. When hybridized with oligonucleotide labeled by Cy3 fluorescent dye, a significant photoluminescence variation of the Alq3 microrods was observed due to Förster resonance energy transfer, unlike when Cy5-oligonucleotide was used. Versatile nucleotide manipulation would open up wider applications of Alq3-based materials, based on this fundamental observation.

Simple Detection of Food Spoilage Using Polydiacetylene/Poly(vinyl alcohol) Hybrid Films

Polydiacetylene (PDA)/poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) hybrid films are investigated for detection of ammonia gas generated by the food spoilage process. The films were obtained by mixing solutions containing diacetylene vesicles and aqueous PVA, and then drying. The films, which consist of carboxylic-acid-terminated PDA, showed a blue-to-red color transition upon reaction with ammonia gas. Five different shapes of magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) particles (Plate-S, Plate-N, Disk, Whisker, and Fiber) were synthesized and added to biopolymer (i.e., Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA)) composite to improve their mechanical and biological properties. Protein Recognition by Phase Transition of Aptamer‐Linked Polythiophene Single Nanowire

A novel protein recognition platform is developed using aptamer-linked polythiophene nanowires. As the aptamer functionalized poly (3-methylthiophene) nanowire is treated by the specific protein, resonance Raman and photoluminescence signals are simultaneously enhanced. Statistical analyses deliver the capability of a single conjugated polymer nanowire with phase-transition characteristics in response to selectivity and concentration.

Shear-induced color transition of PDA (polydiacetylene) liposome in polymeric solutions

The polydiacethylene (PDA) is known to change its color by mechanical shear. The shear-induced color transition has been reported with elastomer or film type of PDA. Fabrication of sensory structure based on poly (ethylene glycol)-diacrylate hydrogel embedding polydiacetylene

Hydrogel-based sensory structures were developed by embedding polydiacetylene supramolecules into poly-(ethylene glycol)-diacrylate (PEG-DA) to detect chemical gases and cyclodextrin and to determine pH values on the basis of a fluorescence change.
