연구실 소개
김동훈 교수의 연구실은 주로 국제마케팅의 문화적 차이 분석과 생물의학적 분야에서의 분자 기전 규명을 동시에 다루는 다학제적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 허들의 고·저문화 이론을 기반으로 한 국제소비자 행동 연구와 함께, GM-CSF나 HDAC 등 생체 내에서 중요한 역할을 하는 단백질의 기능과 약물 개발 가능성을 탐색하고 있습니다. 최근에는 구조물의 건강 진단을 위한 드론 기반 이미지 분석 기술과 얼굴 특징점 식별을 위한 딥러닝 기반 영상 처리 기술 등 응용 기술 연구도 활발히 전개되고 있습니다.

We present a feature-based method to classify salient points as belonging to objects in the face or background classes. We use SURF local descriptors (speeded up robust features) to generate feature vectors and use SVMs (support vector machines) as classifiers. Unlike past findings on cross-cultural advertising, culture seems to have little effect on visual forms in ads. In study 1, we tested whether the culture-congruent visual forms would still be prevalent, in spite of all the recent cultural convergence between Eastern and Western cultures.
