연구실 소개
최두석 교수의 연구실은 난소 기능과 난세포의 생리적 변화, 특히 자가분해작용(자기자신분해)과 mTOR, AKT 등 신호전달 경로의 상호작용을 중심으로 여성 생식 건강을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 난소의 난포 발달과 퇴행 과정에서의 자가분해 조절 메커니즘과 엔도메트리오시스에서의 자가분해 및 세포사 조절 메커니즘을 밝히는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한 난소절제술 후 난소 reserve 손실 여부를 분석하는 임상적 연구를 병행하여 기초 생물학과 임상의학을 연결하는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.
