연구실 소개
이은석 교수의 연구실은 전자기기의 핵심 소재인 리이온 이온 배터리의 고체 용액 반응과 양자역학적 계산을 기반으로 한 원자 구조적 설계를 연구합니다. 특히 니켈과 manganese의 계열화 상태가 리튬 이온의 삽입 거동에 미치는 영향을 분석하여, 수명이 긴 고전압 스파이널 이온 배터리 소재의 설계 원리를 규명하고자 합니다. 또한, 대규모 지형 데이터의 실시간 렌더링을 위한 GPU 기반 고성능 알고리즘과 삼각형 메쉬 최적화 기법을 개발하여, 항공 시뮬레이션 및 생태계 영향 예측 시스템의 실시간 성능을 향상시키는 데에도 기여하고 있습니다.
